About Old Town, Kissimmee, Florida

Old Town is a slice of 1950's - 1960's Americana and is an economical alternative to Disney, Universal Studios, Sea World and other theme parks. Old Town is centrally located off of Highway 192 in Kissimmee. There is no admission fee and parking is free.

The atmosphere is like a carnival or a street fair with lots of amusement rides and food stands on almost every corner. Try the most popular ride, The Human Slingshot or take a spin on the Happy Days Go-Kart Track. Get blown away on the Windstorm Roller Coaster or tower above the Orlando area on the Century Ferris Wheel. If you have little ones in tow, head over to the kiddie park area and watch them spin around on the Merry Go Round or the Tea Cups.

There are plenty of places to shop and pick up souvenirs of your Florida vacation. With over 75 shops, you can do everything from renting a car to buying clothes, jewelry or knick knacks. There are also restaurants and night clubs where you can eat and hang out with friends and family. Pick your choice of dining fare from fish & chips, pizza, Chinese, Tex Mex or all American classics.

On Friday and Saturday nights Old Town really comes to life! Bands provide live entertainment on the main stage and classic cars cruise the brick streets. You can see antique cars, muscle cars and everything in between. Friday nights feature vehicles from 1975 - 1987 and Saturday nights feature cars from 1974 and earlier. If you can't make it to Old Town on a weekend night, not to worry, because there is always something going on. Thursday nights are Bike Night when an average of 700 bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts converge on the streets to show off their rides. Wednesday nights offer up a car cruise that allows the cars from all eras mingle in the streets and a "Tribute to the King" is performed by Dwight Icenhower and The Blue Suede Revue.

The best thing about Old Town is that it is a short walk from your villa at Regal Oaks!
